When I don't wear socks with these, they don't stink, as they would in other plastic shoes. Easy to wash in the tub. I walk a lot and HATE to take these off because the are SO COMFORTABLE! I look for excuses to wear them. My Godmother can only see these on her feet if she is in the shower during her hotel travels. For me, these have replaced my tennis shoes or my wear-before-putting-on-my-high-heel shoes. People are so surprised when I tell them these are Crocs. When my friends and family try them on, they say, "Wow! I see what you mean; these are very comfortable...". I have 3 pair and am debating whether or not to get a few more just to be color-coordinated with my clothing. I wear them to the beach, with jeans or causal skirt, etc. I don't even like to wear other flats anymore (oh yeah, these shoes have also helped me with the pain of Plantar fasciitis (look it up). When I have to wear regular flats or flat sandals, I really feel the difference and long for the comfort of these Crocs. I even wear the clogs for house shoes (I live in New York City and therefore my bare feet don't touch my apartment floor! Don't care how many times I mop.) I can feel the difference in a negative sense because you don't get the "Croc" arch support and comfort. People on the street, at times, look and wonder what the heck do I have on my feet. When I tell them (when they ask) they are amazed. Ironically, last Friday, I was thinking if the Crocs company made a beautiful sandal and high-heels with this type of comfort and support, they'd be in business until we wouldn't need feet anymore! I'm just sayin'...
